I believe some messages are meant to be shared. They come from what we know, what we have lived, what we have overcome, and what we have learned along the way. For many people, a book is the way that message reaches farther than it ever could on its own.
I’m Keren Kilgore—publisher, author coach, book launch strategist, and founder of Quantum Shift Media. For more than 30 years, I have helped authors, coaches, speakers, and business owners turn ideas, expertise, and lived experience into exceptional books that create greater visibility, opportunity, impact, and income.
Why I Founded Quantum Shift Media
I founded Quantum Shift Media because I believe a book can create a quantum shift—a significant change in perspective, direction, identity, or circumstance that moves someone to a new level of possibility.
Publishing the book is only part of that journey.
The deeper work is discovering what you are truly here to say, moving through what may be keeping you stuck, and building the strategy around your book so the message reaches the people who need it.
That is why we do more than publish. We help authors move from message to manuscript to marketplace—with one trusted partner guiding the journey.
The Author Matters as Much as the Book
Sometimes the greatest obstacle to a book is not the manuscript. It is fear, self-doubt, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, uncertainty, or old beliefs about being seen and heard.
As a certified Mastery of Self Facilitator, trained in the Transformational Meditation™ Model, I help authors recognize and release the patterns that can keep them stuck so they can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
At the heart of this work is a belief that has shaped my life: Transformation isn’t about becoming more. It’s about releasing what you are not.
When the author becomes clearer, the message becomes clearer. And when the message becomes clearer, the book changes.
I’m an Author, Too
I know this journey from both sides of the desk.
I am the author of The Seven Hidden Traps That Sink Book Launches, have contributed to four collaborative books, and am currently writing Can I Call You Mom?
For nine years, my husband Michael and I raised 26 teenage foster kids. Those years taught me profound lessons about identity, belonging, compassion, and the difference between looking at someone and truly seeing them.
That experience reinforced something I now bring into nearly every part of my work: People become different when someone sees what is possible in them.
I believe the same is true for authors.
The Life Behind the Work
My own life has been filled with unexpected turns—growing up in full-time ministry, moving 52 times, raising a family, fostering teenagers, riding motorcycles, building businesses, publishing books, and experiencing more than a few quantum shifts of my own.
Michael and I live in Florida and are celebrating 45 years of marriage. We love family, travel, paddleboarding, pickleball, game nights, building community, and creating what I call effervescent collaborations—those connections where people come together, and something greater becomes possible.
